8 - Day 1 of Starting Strength

Started SS today, decided to start real low and just hammer away at form.  Tonight will be more foam rolling and stretching.  And eating lots of food.

2 Hour walk, Hell of a lot of stretching and foam rolling.  Really trying to get mobile.  Tomorrow i will start Starting Strength, should be fun.

Not much today, foam rolling and an hour walk.  Cleared out some space for the gym finally.  Going to start Starting Strength tomorrow and really relearn the lifts.   Keep it simple until i can get some bumper plates and a nice bar.

Ugh, i need to lose weight. Pullups were a bitch.

Another rest day.  Still sore, did alot of foam rolling and stretching, also took two couple mile walks.  Tomorrow i will hit it hard.

4 - R&R

Today is an off day, did a butt load of stretching and foam rolling.  Ate good food and drank some wine.  I think my schedule will be as follows.

Day 1 - Strength
Day 2 - Endurance/agility/technique
Day 3 - Cardio/LISS
Day 4. - Off/Mobility

Repeat.

I like the setup, it give me some structure but also allows for alot of room to play around with different movements.  Im working on a strength routine to startup once the break in period is over.

Started the day with alot of foam rolling and a good amount of stretching, felt really sore but loosened up alot by the end of the hike.  Then decided to take the bike out for the first time in 3 months, hot damn am i out of shape!  Came home and hit some other areas.  Did all this fasted and then at 5 had my first meal.  Now its time to relax,  digest until dinner and then watch some quality HBO.
